I have a portable washing machine (acquired to cope with the draconic washing schedule in my previous apartment) that I want to get rid of now that I have moved into a new apartment. It measures approx. 80 x 80 x 70 cm and comes with input (attaches to taps in sink, bath etc) and output pipes. It does a range of cycles including pre-wash, intensive, delicate, various temperatures. Takes 50-70% of a normal load (depending how much you would normally stuff into a washing machine - if you're me, lots). Runs quietly enough that you can run it at night etc without the neighbours complaining. I need to remove it from my old apartment (Griesernweg 11, Zurich 8037) by Wednesday 27 Feb. Would require two strong people to carry it down the stairs. Free to anyone who can take it.
OK good point - I used that word as it was originally described to me in that way. How about: portable as in still not as big as a normal washing machine and you just hook it up to the sink/bath taps as required rather than having it permanently installed.
