Ikea sell some pretty decent ones; fiver a pair, take 30kg.

Plus if you're being moved, they might supply some for you

I am still in the process of (not) unpacking in my Zürich appartement. I've just been round with my tape measure and I have

(length x width x depth)

6 boxes at 46cm x 46cm x 26cm = 55 litres
4 boxes at 46cm x 46cm x 41cm = 86 litres
4 boxes at 46cm x 46cm x 50cm = 105 litres

The two smaller sizes were strong enough to be filled with books.

I don't want any money for them, I was going to break them down and chuck them by April 25th - my next Karton pickup date.

LR has a point. If you're not paying for them to pack on the day, they'll likely drop off enough boxes ahead of the moving date.
