| | | question about Winnie the Pooh
Seriously though, hear me out. Browsing through stores I sometimes see books, bagpacks and other random gear with Winnie the Pooh holding a honey jar. My question, why isn't anybody messing with his honey jar?
I couldn't come up with any other conclusion than Winnie being the biggest gangster...the "Don" so to speak and despite his deceiving smile, the other animals just know not to mess with Winnie. Could a devoted parent please enlighten me? Thanks.

Listen Fool
A bear has a Tiger and a Pig as his 'bitches'
...... I'm ain't fooled by that Mike Tyson girly vioce he has..... and if he won't let the tiger eat the pig either... Ain't no way I'd be mess'n wit da Bear's Honey either.
Personally, I now think Winnie the Poo is some form of metaphor for "South Central LA Gangsters"....... Winnie holds ALLL the Honey* (*substitute narcotic of choice)

He's a bear! Would you get between a bear and his honey?
Sure the illustrations make hime look cute, but he's a bonafide cold hearted killer in the flesh.

eg. (speaking of Bears) that little ragedy thieving troll "Goldy Locks". She basially stole the bears food...... and the bears messed her up and ate her !!!
(clearly I don't remember how the "Three Bears" story ends)

No one else wants the stinking honey. It's gross.

The way I tell it, by the end of the story Goldy is cleaning house for Mrs B AND cooks more porridge! | Quote: | | | | | I don't really think that it is in the best interests of any childs story to encourage selfish "Take" behaviour.

Paddington bear's soft, he'd be nothing without the Browns!
Winnie the Pooh, now ... anyone who calls himself "pooh" and doesn't get laughed at is tough. I'm more concerned with Ee-yore, though - what's he on? He & Tigger should exchange 'medication' sometime ... | Quote: | | | | | The way I tell it, by the end of the story Goldy is cleaning house for Mrs B AND cooks more porridge! | | | | | Sounds better than the "is surprised at the scene of the crime and does a runner!" ending with which I'm familiar ...

I remember Winnie the Pooh as being very cunning but he's wise enough to act in a modest way. Doesn't he say "I'm a bear of very little brain and big words bother me"? Posters beware!
