| | | potato chips with or without a sandwich?
I am always getting slack from my partner that I eat potato chips with my sandwiches. He says "that is so American". So I thought I would take a survey and see how many people really enjoy eating there Paprika Chips from Migros, Pringles, Zweifel etc.. with there sandwich of choice

I voted with, there's something I find very satisfying about a sandwich, a bag of CRISPS and a piece of fruit as a meal.
Although, this lunchtime was 2 sandwiches and a twix, but that's beside the point....

Cheese and crisp sandwiches are good. Better are peanut butter and Wotsits (or cheese puffs, as our Septic cousins might call them).

Oh, hold on - do you mean with the sandwich or in the sandwich?
Makes a lot of difference.

Ahh, for soft, sliced white bread. You read in POW books how many newly-released POWs mention this as one of the first things they go for on release.
I sympathise.

Excellent point Boris, the delights of a crisp sandwich have eluded me for too long...to the London Shop, for Walkers and Warburtons...

For soft white bread I buy American toast( it is larger and softer than the others) from Migros. I cannot live without it or my Jif peanut butter I import from U.S.

The 'American toast' is still quite dry and hard compared to the white sliced loaf I dream about each evening.

I just bought the same American toast in France at Geant and it was much softer. What is the peanut Butter called at Coop?

Sorry. Didn't mean to get your hopes up. They are no where to be found in Schweiz. In fact, I don't know if I've ever seen that particular flavor in Europe anywhere. Doritos, sure. Cool Ranch. Not so much.
I was just fantasizing. | Quote: | | | | | WHERE CAN I FIND THOSE COOL RANCH DORITOES? THIS MAY BE DANGEROUS. THEY ARE MY FAVORITE. NEVER SAW THEM HERE IN DER SCHWEIZ | | | | | |

| | | Re: potato chips with or without a sandwich? I will be bringing those back when I go to Atlanta in January, now I am craving them and Sun Chips French onion. I will share Chem Goddess. There is an American store in Geneva quite expensive but if you really want something they usually have it. It is on a street between the rail station after Burger King to the left.
