Moving to France - Customs issues

Hi,
We will move to France from Geneva and import our personal effects. All of our stuff is older than 6 months. We will rent a van and do the move ourselves. Do we need to declare anything at the border? What are the procedures? How likely is the French customs to stop you at the border?
