Yep - Off topic but I'm posting because I'm (hopefully) about to move there.

I'm looking to get an idea of typical IT contract rates in London, specifically Unix Admin positions.

Reasonable Swiss hourly rates work out at about 350GBP per day.

I've been told that they could go quite a bit higher though. Seems like the London market is better paying. Then again, you are paid by the 'day' and expected to work more than 8.4 hours I'd guess.
