Bravofly scam, skyscraping

I went to book a flight after someone on a website said they were good (must have been a shill). Went back and forth over 2 days, making sure of times with my husband. Decided to leave at 3:15 from Vence to Naples. went to bravofly.com and chose THAT flight, double checked on payment page and paid. WHen I received the confirmatiion email, I checked the flight and IT WAS A LATER ONE THAT HAD BEEN 3" BELOW ON THE PAGE!!! Several calls to change flight over days, each one being charged a fee. That's the start of your lies, Sofia of Bravofly.j The phone number in the states DOESN"T work at all. The calls don't go through.
Finally decided to cancel due to difficulties and rudeness and wanted a full refund, or at least the amount of refund you'd expect here if you cancelled a flight, perhaps 10%-20%.
I contacted my credit card company and they put a temporary hold. In the meantime, Bravofly sends me an email of a $63 refund for $400+ tickets I NEVER CHOSE. Emails from them in response to mine are full of lies. They insisted I made the wrong choice, then they said I clicked to them through another website and THAT website made the booking error! Stuff like that. Refuse to take responsibility that websites can make errors like that!
Received a call today that Bravofly will not accept my credit from the credit card! And here's the catch-22....the only proof I can submit would be confirmation of the flight I wanted!!! A joke, right? Now how could I do that If I never received the flight I wanted???
I don't know what other recourse I have being in the US and where they are. If anyone knows any legal recourse I might have I would love to hear it. Otherwise, I am being robbed of $400+_ for a flight I didn't want and the calls I made that they charge for(!) to correct the error THEY MADE. Perhaps they think all Americans are rich?? I saved long and hard for this trip and $400 is a HUGE amount to us.
And I won't be surprised if Sofia (yes, I received emails from her and I see her responses here) responds to this with her lies. She tries to sound professional, but the company is a SCAM. And if there is no legal recourse, I am copying this letter and will be posting it all over the internet, and even if nothing can be done, sending it to any country's consumer agency. I have already done some of that and the company is being investigated by a UK organization, I believe.
In sum, BRAVOFLY, COM IS A SCAM!! THEY ARE ROBBERS. DO NOT EVER, EVER, GO TO THEIR WEBSITE!!!!

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Sorry to nitpick, but it would make reading your complaint easier if you spaced the text out into proper paragraphs.

I gave up reading your post after the second sentence.

Cheers,
Nick

Re: Bravofly scam, skyscraping

that IS nitpicking. No one else has had any complaints about the paragraph structure. I think that is not a very friendly way to welcome a newcomer to a forum who has a complaint. Perhaps if you learned to focus on the issue rather than the structure.

Would you simply be happier if we started a collection for you out of sympathy?

With all due respect, it's kind of etiquette around here to tell the viewers who you are and what you do and save the rant for at least the second post. For all we know, you might just have had a messy divorce from the CEO of Bravofly and aren't too thrilled with his new, young Russian date.

I think the paragraph structure could be better, I never managed to get to the end of what you were saying, If I had I would be able to focus on the issue.

Wow! Never mind. I belong to several other forums and have NEVER had any responses like this. My mistake.

Re: Bravofly scam, skyscraping

On the contrary. I was pointing out - in a friendly way - how better to format your posts which might encourage people to read what you wrote and "focus on the issue".

Nothing more than standard etiquette on any online forum. Jumping on someone giving that advice is not too friendly either.

Also, as others point out if you post right away in complaints without putting something in Introductions, we have no idea what your motive for posting in complaints might be. So far your only two posts on EF have been to complain about Bravofly - so don't be surprised if your posts are taken with a pinch of salt by the regulars.

Cheers,
Nick

Re: Bravofly scam, skyscraping

For what it's worth, here is a link to their company information - they are based in Chiasso. The pdf is in Italian but their direct address is at the base of the page....

Good luck.

Nick

Thank you for your recommendation.

I'd not heard of Bravofly before. Their website looks interesting. I'll check them out next time I'm looking for flights.

Re: Bravofly scam, skyscraping

thank you Swiss Cheddar. You are the only one who offered worthwhile information. Responding to a complaint with the same defense is childish. If you have such stringent requirements as opposed to other forums, perhaps I will not continue.
As I said, my mistake for expecting a better welcome. To respond to one's concerns with a criticism right away isn't friendly and to respond that responding
that I didn't feel I was welcomed...you sound like a defensive bully. /therefore, I will not continue on this thread any longer. I believe I had enough bullying from bravofly.com. l

What did you expect???

You join a forum with no intention of being part of the community in any way.
Are you living in Switzerland??? Are you planning to move here???

All you want to do is talk trash about an airline you had a bad experiance with.

This is not the place to do it.

You are a troll........now go away

cheers
