Re: Any Computer gamers here?

Something potentially interesting: An MMO from NASA called Astronaut: Moon, Mars and Beyond

They are looking for funding for the project it appears, here is some more information from Kickstarter.

I can wrap my head around the idea of it actually being fun for the average schmo like me, I can more easily imagine it being a ton of fun for those who are more into the engineering maths and sciences involved in the technologies of space travel. Hopefully they get enough funding for us all to find out.

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

Now I have been anticipating the great MF3 and BF3 showdown coming up this fall. However, I have now realized, there is a much more epic showdown between two games this fall!

Moved onto EQ II and avid enough a player to go to Fan Faire (or just an excuse to go to Las Vegas for a week.)

SOE are bringing out some cool new versions of planetside which look interesting too.

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

I just got an email, that my skyrim colector's edition will not be shipped to switzerland from UK, as it is over 1kg.
Now I ordered the normal edition. So I save 130.-

Has anyone played oblivion in german? Thats the reason why I want the game in English this time (Schw. Tr. d. Le.en.-W. or Geb. Myth. Mo.rö.-Rüs.)

Now I'm playing Lion King. It was my very first video game, but I never beat it. I'm still trying...

Good call on english Skyrim. I mean Sir Patrick Steward was an amazing touch to Oblivion, and skyrim will have even a better cast.

On that note, there was apparently a huge mod-game world for oblivion made, but it was in german. Apparently it was amazing, but I never tried it.

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

I never tried any mods, as I have Oblivion only for the Xbox. Skyrim will be for my (fast new super) PC...

Only 19 days left :-)

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

Hi all

Are there any gamers on here who play Minecraft? My youngest son is well into it at the moment, but has a problem with the server, and I was wondering if there was anyone here who could perhaps offer a bit of advice if they know about it. I'd probably have to ask him to type in the problem, as I have no idea what he's on about

Cheers

Sounds good! Details!

Which SSD is it? How big is it? Price? Normal HDD for storage as well? GPU(s)?

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

Ohaider!
I know, this thread is old and I guess none even will notice it, but I`m a gamer ( 14 years already, yes started early ) and I would like to meet other gamers in Switzerland!
Last few years i`m into mmorpgs mostly (WoW, LotrO, RIFT), but I love single player games also (The Witcher, Dragon Age, Anno, Sims - I play lots of stuff).

I`m looking forward to Guild Wars 2, TERA and Mists of Pandaria at the moment

Any meet-ups going on?

Hey all - I've not kept track (not that into stalking ) to know who all may be involved with Blizzard games but there was word today that they've had an unauthorized breach of internal security.

From the message, it sounds like it's affecting mostly folks with North American accts (like me), but they're still in the process of investigating.

More info here.

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

Why I try and avoid games that have anything to do with the net, but it gets more and more difficult these days.

Titan Quest fan myself, hence the user name. Have been playing for some years now. Atm though, I'm playing Kingdoms of Amalur having recently picked up a copy in the UK. Also play Sacred Gold occasionally and Two Worlds, but I'm also a fan of city builders like Children of the Nile, Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom and Zeus: Master of Olympus. Patrician III, Port Royale and Anno 1503 are favourites too when I want a break from monster bashing. I've got newer versions of some of these games, but they just haven't appealed enough to drag me away from TQ.

Most anticipated game for me is Grim Dawn, TQ's spiritual successor and made by some of the people who developed TQ. Recently successful with a Kickstarter project they are still at pre-alpha stage and it's looking pretty amazing. For those interested the website is www.grimdawn.com and there are screenshots and some videos to view. Roll on 2013 for a new dawn with Grim Dawn.
