Hows the cooling? (that was my issue) Otherwise I might wager software issues. How new is the install? Do you have a lot of background programs running?

Me me me me! Alas, still playing US version so I'm sitting here waiting for patching to end today.

Beta has been amazing, I'm really excited about changes to hunter (yes, I'm one of those) and looking forward to exploring what's new and different for my Warlock and Druid. (I didn't want to spoil things for myself too much, so will continue not doing much aside from dailies and farming materials until MoP goes live though)

Is playing in the US slow from here?

How is the patch size wise? How many GB?

I am also stocking up on cloth to make bags, and I am about to ding my 7th 85. Just found out that as of the patch the 82-85 grind will be shrunk big time.

Cooling is fine, im running a corsair H80. idle is 29-30 and under load using prime max test i get 50 ish same results when running toast or core damage for more than 10 mins - max was 51c, and thats with the cooler on the lowest setting.

install has been many months but im not using it so much, background progs are kicked out/closed and not much difference at all.

the 2 cards are running different bios dates but i dont have any option to update it.

Me too.

Have toons on Twilight's Hammer and Doomhammer and have been playing since the launch of BC.

Still have not found anything to replace it... Tried several other games and even cancelled my subscirption of WoW for a period, but have to conseed that it still is the best, so when the pandas are released I will re ready and waiting.

I was sceptical to MoP when it was announced, but it looks more and more promising as we get closer.

And the cinematic for the new patch is imho the best cinematic Blizz have ever come up with.

I uninstalled WoW for about the 3rd, and hopefully final, time last year. Kung Fu Pandas aren't going to drag me back

Be strong! Wotlk was the beginning of the end for me, and Cata was the nail in the coffer, I'm never going back to WoW. Hubby however is buying the expansion "just to try it out"

I'm looking to upgrade my mouse (broke the wireless transmitter on my Performance Mouse MX for the second time).

Looking at the Logitech Wireless Gaming Mouse G700. Any opinions? recommendations? advice?

Sorry - I guess I didn't look back at this thread until today.

Ping from here to US is a bit slow, but not as bad as some of the folks from Oceanic areas complain of, so it's not toooooo bad. Also, I rarely raid and only pvp extremely casually, so a slow ping doesn't really bother me. (None of my family plays anymore, not even hubby - even though we keep an active subscription for him - so I mostly jump into random dungeons or else spend my time roaming and doing dailies, nothing that would be affected by slow response.)

Meanwhile, hubby talked me into "letting" him get GW2 for me, I've been playing that for the past week or so, and really enjoying it. The events being shared things in many cases is awesome, the nodes (herbs, ores) being available to all (everyone can gather from the same source, it only goes away once YOU have used it) is really really awesome.

Still... it makes my computer whine. Time for some new parts I guess.

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

Any advices about internet providers for online gaming here in Switzerland?

Basically, I play shooting games, so every ms counts.

Tried Cablecom and Swisscom already, but I'm looking for a lower ping.

Any ideas?

FTL: Faster than Light
http://www.ftlgame.com/

I had no idea I wanted this game so badly until I played it the other day.

I love a game where my current attack strategy is to board the enemy ship and punch their captain in the face.

Most games seem to end in asphyxiation, fiery death and general screaming...very addictive.

GOTY.

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

Can't wait to see the game play for Farcry 3, their trailer (albeit most likely cinematic) looks amazing. The gameplay for the console looks generic, but they don't have a lot of hardware to work with there

Did anyone see that Chris Roberts is back on the gaming scene? He's developing a MMO space sim, Star Citizen. Looks well impressive
