Any World of Warcraft players out there BTW... I'm playing an English game on German servers, would be nice if there were others out there.

I was playing EQ2 for a long time now - but have decided to have a break from it.

Now back to a quick game of Condition Zero with some friends
EQ1 ate 5 years of my life ;-) Wise decision.

No time for online gaming, mostly console gamers, but new pc will be here soon and so can finally play up to date pc games. Will be forced to buy an Xbox 360 when Halo 3 comes out! Waiting for shops to get Lego Star Wars 2 in so we can use our trade in credits to buy it rather than cash! The wait is killing us!!

On the pc I only really played the Monkey Island games (and of course back when Sims first came out!) and it's been just toooo long since they came out with one!

Hubs works for Rockstar Games so we get loads of free console games... yay!

Hubs and I actually met on a MUSH back in the day! Don't hold much truck with these new fangled graphics games online
Can I be your friend? I'm looking for a PS3 copy of GTA 4

I can't believe this many people play computer games. Didn't you mommy tell you that it's bad for your grades?

I would beg to differ with this, growing up with games provided me with great mental stimulation and a good escape from academia. If anything I would argue that gaming had a positive impact upon my grades. Of course we are talking about gaming in moderation here, you can't game and do nothing else, or game at the expense of study / work, but you should be able to fit it into a balanced lifestyle.

Alongside full time work and also part time studying for a masters degree I still game along with other sport and social activities with no negative influence on my grades

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

The Wii is a great little machine and much fun if you like the Nintendo style of games, especially when you have multiple people.

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

Thanks for the feedback. I just thought it'd be fun to play with my wife when we can't be out in the mountains. I don't really want to play unsociable games but fun games that 2 or more people can play.

Well then, the Wii would be ideal for you, it's got quite a few games aimed at the casual gamers market. Most of the games are multiplayer too. They're also a lot of fun.

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

I was big into EQ and almost as much so into WoW for a while, but I've had to give games a break for the last year or two. Still reboot into Windows every now and again to try out the latest C&C or such.

Actually, I'm going to work for another MMOG based here in Switzerland, you might be interested in it: www.empireofsports.com . If nothing else, it gives me an excuse... err, reason to start gaming again, eh?

PC games almost exclusively.

FPS and Racing games. I don't have time for MMORPGs.

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

I used to be an addicted Unreal Tournament player, but quit almost completely soon after my son was born, about 2 years ago. I'm sure I could jump right back in the game with almost no preparation, but I don't think I could find anyone playing UT anymore, right ?

BF2
COD2

Although I haven't played any of them for over a year.....

RTCW - still not found a game to top it
Enemy Territory - just cos its the best free game ever
BF2 - got into this just as I stopped playing so not handy at this one
COD2 - superb! As close as it gets to beating RTCW
Americas Army - another free one, great online game but ashamed that I got into it as its sponsored by the American Army

Re: Any Computer gamers here?

I got ride of my first-person-shooter gaming addiction 3 years ago.
Now, I play only time to time lately coline mcrae DiRt... I recently played the bioshock demo the graphics are quiet sick. I might get the whole game.
I diden't get a computer's made for gaming this year because the latest graphic cards make a horrible fan noise and their to expensive. Got a portable
instead ( won't be able to play crysis )

Have you seen the latest team forteress 2 trailers there so hilarious !
