| Re: Namibia travel tips
Join a Namibian living here in Switzerland. My wife and some friends and family are also going on holiday to nam in July August. What I can recommend depends very highly on how much ur willing to drive and what type of car u have.
If ur driving a 4x4 and are camping I would suggest a little place called ongongo near sesfontein. It's a bumpy ride and miles away from civilisation but it's beautifull and definitely worth a look. Has a beautifull little waterfall which source is a hot spring meaning even in winter it's not too cold to swim. I always make an effort to stay there a few days even if it's out of the way. Just a warning if u do go u will have to leave buying groceries (especially meat) till u get to sesfontein since they have strict control points on the way there that won't let u take meat into the area. Meat can be bought at ongongo campsite if necessary.
