I was your age when I had my first child. my sister (7 years younger) used to take my daughter out just for fun - to see what looks she got!
She's now a psychologist, so maybe she was just interested in human behaviour.
We laugh now, because I was 32 having my third child, and everyone assumes he's my first... and when my daughter starts high school next month... oh wow...I'm gonna look very young compared to the other mums at the parent-teacher night
Doesn't matter whether you are young/old/middle/fancy dressed or not, people will judge. Developing a thick skin was pretty hard (especially as I had a lot of 'guilt' feelings anyway about having a child so young)... and if I say now 'Oh gee, I'm so glad I had my kids in my 20's and by the time I'm 40 I'll be looking forward to them leaving home .... the 'older' mums get irritated, like I am judging them for their choice (or not) to have kids older...
I'm 35 and still get assumed to be a lot younger than I am... I swear, I really am 35, I can account for every year of my life!
