I got this DVD [Borat the Movie] a couple of days ago and watched it last night/this morning.

If you have not seen this then do so...! It's hilarious. The fight in the hotel room, chasing Pammy, singing the national anthem.....

I agree... Some people don't like it but Borat is one of the funniest films of recent times.

Apparently he's working on the next film with the gay Austrian character now.

When some friends and I went to see this film, we thought it was very funny, but also very clever.

It illustrates the prejudices faced by foreigners in US, but also gets across how accepting people are of other cultures - a good mix.

Would definitely recommend those who haven't seen it, to go see it.

I have to agree with you completely. We got the film today, mostly based on this thread (scary, isn't it?).

I am not the type of person to laugh aloud at movies. Especially loud. Annoy the neighbors loud. I probably had all of the neighbors looking at their watches and cursing the fact it wasn't 9pm (our quiet cut off time) because I was cracking up at the hotel room fight scene. Well, actually the elevator and what followed, too.

Definitely - if you didn't see it, get it and watch!

have a look at the out-takes (deleted scenes) too. It's all good, very good.

I found it boring.
