Geneva Labs sound system

Hi all,

I am considering buying a Geneva Labs sound system (the L). Have listened to the XL and was most impressed, but prefer the design of the L. Does anyone here on EF have any experience with Geneva Labs?

Thanks,
Barbra.

Re: Geneva Labs sound system

Have a word with yourself. A good example of style over function a la B&O.

Get a Linn, Revox, Audiolab, even Arcam if you want some smooth sounds. If you want a ghetto-blaster for the swiss tastes by all means go ahead.
If you want quality reproduction, drive, good stereo imaging and a musical presentation get a proper hifi grandma.

I thought you knew (nay , are actually qualified ) about this stuff

Thanks Dave.

Yes, I am qualified, but am also for looking something which I'd actually like to have in my lounge, with easy integration to an iPod/iPhone.

As for audiolab and Revox....you're welcome to them.......so let's agree to disagree.

Is that the elephant in the room ? That would be as welcome in most lounges, as I would be in yours.

I thought Dave was being harsh until I looked at the site.

My assumption is you don't want to play music loud? Then consider a simple, portable iPod dock system with battery and see if you like that.

There, I've just saved you about €800.
