1 horse sized duck or 100 ducked sized horses?

The 100 ducked sized horses would win. Although the horse-sized duck would have the height and power advantage,if the 100 duck-sized horses were well organised and used shrewd strategy to distract and confuse their opponent they could deliver fearful hoof powered kicks to the giant duck's soft underbelly. Herein lies the horse sized duck's weakness.

or

The horse sized duck would win. It could flap its huge wings to cause confusion and break up any potentially lethal synchronised mini horse attacks. its huge thick skinned webbed feet would not only squash multiple horses, but would also be immune to bites. With its big beak it could scoop up and swallow mini horses whole. Therefore it would just be a matter of time before the duck won through.

Re: POLL - 1 horse sized duck or 100 ducked sized horses?

Ducks are wicked, devious creatures, notorious for hiding their malicious intelligence behind an amiable persona (anima?) of cheerful quackiness and good humour.

Indeed, the word 'duck' in English derives from the Old Welsh dwcca, which is a kind of semi-aquatic malignant spirit that dwells in ponds and small streams, luring innocent travellers to their doom with the offer of stale bread (or wrinkly potatoes, back in the days before bread was invented) and other good things.

It is my belief that a horse sized duck would have a deeply unfair advantage over any number of horses - whether they be horse sized or duck sized - simply because it would use its cunning to devise powerful weapons capable of rendering the horses immobile, before turning them into mostbroekli and glue.

They fight dirty, ducks do. The horses wouldn't stand a chance.

You meant in a fight scenario!? I though you were asking which I would rather have. I think one horse sized duck would crap all over the horses, and win the fight.

1 horse sized duck of course. Less waste when prepared for eating.

The only downside I see is having duck butties for the next 3 months...

If you were making crispy skin duck then you'd need one hell of a pile of pancakes...

Imagine a horse sized duck meeting another and mating. End result would be me sitting under the table sweating that they would find me; and shed loads of duck faeces. The swiss would never allow it.

Well, obviously the herd of duck sized horses would win because the horse sized duck would already be skewered on my giant rotisserie ready to go in my big fat belly.

Hmm, I must have read it wrong, because I thought that was the point of the poll, which ones would be tastier?

Who'd eat duck sized horses? Now you're just being silly.

Exactly, that's what made it such an easy decision.

Re: 1 horse sized duck or 100 ducked sized horses?

Although voting for the monstrous duck, I'm beginning to reconsider my choice (based on the tag words, invisible to non-voters).

100 horses of any description would be a better bet. Horses are smart, even when tiny. And a lot more useful, despite the culinary application of a horse-sized duck.

Imagine a small cart with 100HP! We could put a FIAT badge on it and call it a Panda...

Would a horse-sized duck eat eels instead of worms?

Duck sized horses would fit nicely on my rotissery spit in my oven, yum. I would fill them with apricots and wrap bacon around them and maybe add some jalapenos... so that's why there aren't any left I guess...

I also think the horse-sized duck would win. It could simply lay an egg or two. The egg being the size of a small dog would roll over the duck-sized horses and smash them, any ones left standing could easily be taken out by some nasty duck s**t and a few pecks from that ever so annoying duck bill...

Plus if I had a horse-sized duck, I would not eat it as it would probably be too stringy. Instead, I would use it as transport to work (across the lake). Furthermore, I could eat giant duck-eggs for breakfast - gone are the days of a six egg mousse

I went for the 100 duck sized horses. My feeling is that once the horses trip the very large duck they would then proceed to do this to him.

Can you imagine 100 duck sized horses pummeling you?

Have you ever thought of how slow a horse sized duck would be and how much faster 100 duck sized horses would be? That duck would try to bite them with it s fangs and the horses would already be gone going apesh*t on it s massive tail feathers
