Any Abers on EF?

While (mildly amused) reading the thread "Remembering Your Former Life", I got curious if there would be any other "Abers" on EF. Any?

This stuff strikes a chord and resonates somewhere deep inside. And I do know (or feel) for sure that it is more than mere "wishful thinking".

I know this is a very personal question. So please don't feel any need to respond. It's all downstream

Cheers.

...But many, many, many are not yet asking and therefore are not yetready for the answer. And so, we would say that — although everyone wants this information — everyone is not necessarily ready for it. We would not spend any time trying to convince anybody of anything because if they're not asking, your answers are just irritating.

So you're on a first-name basis and you saw him at a workshop in 1998. Cool.

No😢
In 1998 I knew nothing about all this.

And - it's not a "him" anyway. 😀.

The law of attraction. Of course it is so. I live my life by that philosophy. It`s absolutely amazing!

Re: Any Abers on EF?

Take a look at the link from VFR. I'm not an "Aber" by any stretch, but I do believe that life is largely what you make it.

In an over-simplified nutshell: Like attracts like. People who keep a positive attitude and can visualize themselves succeeding do better in life than the folks that view everything from a negative or victim perspective.

Re: Any Abers on EF?

I agree with you, 3 wishes. But on checking out the link, all I see is a feel good sales pitch for books and dvd's.

All this hullabaloo about 'manifestation' is a bunch of crap. If not, those who preach or believe it should go and teach the sick and starving in the world how to manifest food and medicine...

There are causes and effects in this world - it is not all a matter of mental outlook.

Look, I'm not going to defend the website or the concept. I already said I'm not a follower. Deltagolf is welcome to fly the banner.

However - I believe the concept behind positive thinking has merit - regardless of whether you're rich or poor. You can't always choose what happens in your life, but you can choose how you react at critical times. Each choice you make at least in part determines what your next choices will be.

No, it doesn't mean a hungry kid in a 3rd-World country is suddenly going to wish themselves into stardom in Hollywood. Well, maybe Abraham truly believes that. I don't.

Like i said, I agree with you. I wasn't trying to force you to defend anything - my apologies if it came across that way.
