Where to donate WWII 'memorabilia'

So my grandmother passed away last year, and it reminded me that, a few years ago, she had given me some letters exchanged between her (in the US) and another wife of a man at war (in the UK). She wanted me to try to see if this other woman was still alive and to try to reconnect. I made an effort, but it was unsuccessful...

Anyways, I still have these letters. There's nothing out-of-the-ordinary written - just what they do with their time, how much they miss their husbands, etc. Still, they don't really serve much purpose but of course I could never let myself throw them away.

I was thinking that there might be some kind of WWII museum or something that I could donate these to - so that a piece of my grandmother can be 'eternalized' somewhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Would be very grateful.

You could contact the Imperial war Museum in London and ask them if they have, or know of, a collection for letters such as these.
