if the dog did bite sure the act of protecting a client and if the client was in "danger" then there would be no fault to the handler it would go to court of cause . if how ever the dog bit say someone when out walking then i would be in a world of carp hence why i have a 3million liability insurance for that reason . but why would the dog bite ? their train only to do so if the situation calls for it
maybe because dogs aren't robots?

Re: Dog

Please explain one thing for me: you wrote you need a dog ASAP (in June, if I remember correctly), but you want to contact a breeder. This means you want a puppy (breeders don't sell adult dogs). How on Earth can a puppy, which probably hasn't even been born yet, become a guard dog in 3 months?! Not only it will be way too young, it won't even be trained properly!

This obviously means you have no idea about dogs. I truly hope you fail to get one, because a guard dog in your hands will be... miserable. And dangerous to other people.

Well, you're quite a catch for a young lady like Olygirl: friends in high places, clearly able to look after yourself, animal lover. What more could a girl ask for?

I think you should ask her out. Go on! I double dare you!

sometimes breeder sell off older dogs like ex stud dogs they can still work effaces a young dog is much better but for now till i have more paper work in place an older (4 + year ) dog would be great

ex stud dogs are also working dogs mate
infact a lot of them have come from a working back ground .. such army or even from over seas security . such as Black water... the dog is mon then enough to act as a preventive measure .

... since my client will be in basel from switzerland and have been hired to do the job i kinda need to get a dog asap
Ah, I've got it, now. You're looking for a disposable dog, to cover the period that your client is visiting Switzerland.

A dog's not just for Christmas. But just for show while your client graces Switzerland for a visit, well that's OK.

Check in local.ch under Oligarchswachhundsverleih. There should be a good selection there.
