Paris accomodation

Does anyone know of an in-expensive, centrally located charming B&B. Asking too much? Thanks for any ideas. Am not too sure about tripadvisor anymore.

Re: Paris accomodation

Don't know about B&B- but we stay at Citadines Le Marais- simple but nice rooms with a kitchenette and fridge- and very reasonable. We go by train, so it is close to Gare de Lyon, which is perfect. Le Marais is a bohemian area, with a great atmosphere, and you can pick up Métro and the Tourist buses at Bastille, just a couple of minutes down the road. They have about 5 other locations too- but not been to any of the others.

Re: Paris accomodation

Same as odile.. The rooms are fine and it has one of the best markets in paris directly outside. The metro is 5 mins walk away.

Re: Paris accomodation

We've stayed here several times and it's very nice.

We wanted somewhere close to the Palais de Congres and this was ideal but may be less convenient for other areas.

Re: Paris accomodation

We always stay in Versailles - so much cheaper and quieter, but we're in the heart of Paris in a few minutes. I might try Citadines next time, though, as le Marais is such a great part of town.
