I was passing through Paradeplatz on my way to the gym at lunch time and noticed literally dozens of people walking around with these briefcase sized boxes of Lindt chocolate that they were carrying attached to a cord handle.

Was there some kind of promotion on? Did i miss free chocolate????

Probably Lindt's AGM - the blue boxes are free gifts for shareholders.

Lucky shareholders!! Would be funny if they just contained pens and paper and no chocolate!

their AGM was today, so it must have been a gift to shareholders. I'd say buy the shares, but last time I looked they traded around 14,000 Sfr., which is a bit much for a box of chocolates, no?

Subsequently you could just get a job there. Then every Christmas you would receive about 3kg of the same brown stuff youl'd been producing all year, at christmas!

I'm putting all my money in chocolate. they're approaching 34k now.

Saw someone on the bus opening theirs...it's a mix of different Lindt products...the lady sounded apprehensive about chili flavoured chocs.

Chili chocs are delicious .
