Removing stain from clothes

Hi everyone,

What product is the most effective for removing stains from light-colored clothes that got stained from dark-colored laundry while accidentally mixing them in water? A product that can be found in Switzerland, please.

For white clothes I´d check for Gardinenweiss.

Re: Removing stain from clothes

You are looking for an 'Entfärbungsmittel für Textilien.'

I last bought the stuff some years ago - back then one had to get it at the Apotheke. But I *think* I saw a product at the Coop not too long ago (maybe from Kr2?) - look in the laundry aisle.

I can't remember the brand name, sorry - but ask for an Entfärbungsmittel and the folks at the Apotheke will show you what's available.

So how did it work?

Colored sock in a white 95 degree wash: The whites didn't exactly go back to white, the best I could get with two tries with the Entfärbungsmittel was more a light blue (black sock). As these were dish towels I could live with that.

Don't forget to clean the washing machine and run at least 1 empty 95 degree wash after use.
