Oh dear:
" Of course men are boring," says Maeve Pollard, 48, who cuts my dog's hair, as if I've asked whether Monday follows Sunday. "If there's just the two of you, the woman thinks, 'What shall we talk about?
As the saying goes, it is as boring as cutting the hair of a dog.
Well, I guess the strong silent type doesn't cut it anymore with the ladies nowadays, it's the jabbering idiot that does... |

Men are usually boring....someone.
Either it is their wife, their girlfriend or someone they picked up at the local pub.
Boring is hard work.
Did you mean drilling? http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bore Another way to look at this:
Put a man in a nice suit, in a topless car, and smelling good, suddenly he is not "boring".
I saw this experient on BBC PRime.

I saw this experient on BBC PRime. | | | | | Yep I saw an experiment where they put a not very good looking guy with normal clothes behind a window and asked ladies if they'd go on a date with him. Only like 10% said yes. Then they took the same guy and dressed him sharply and the number increased to something like 70% - scary
While women as shown in this case look at ££££££, we men try to imagine what the body parts might look like under all that fabric that is concealing them - I think that is being much more imaginative
on the other hand women's values may remain attractive longer (think trust fund), whereas the womens assets will soon not appeal the same anymore... so women NEED to be interesting on top of being sexy to keep a man, while a man can be boring and still attract with his wallet.
OK now that was tooo extreme |

Yes Salsa Lover and Shorrick. I must say that you have done an outstanding job in proving that men are not boring at all.
Aside from the fact that this thread has already turned into a cat fight like so many other ones. Now we just need random and irrelevant googled images to complete it.
Not boring or predictable in the slightest |

As Natasha said.
I can imagine now why that woman would think that men are so boring.
she was there witnessing that one guy was trying to annoy with gratuituous sarcastic comments another guy who didn't give a **** about that and went to ignore him.
How much fun she would have had.
Now to have some fun ....

But judging by your hawaiian short sleeves, you should be driving a red ferrari 308, not an Audi: |

I once went to a party where a bloke talked incessantly about his collection of Black and Decker power tools.
What a boring conversation that was.
Cheers,
Nick

Ohh I believe often it is more than looking, but in the case I mentioned as an example, that did not make the difference as the imagined and the actual fun stick are obviously the same no matter how spiffy the clothes - or are they?

It's an effing long article. And at the very bottom, it says 'abridged'.
I do agree though that gay men are a lot more fun to talk to. If one finds a connection with a heterosexual man, which is rare but possible, it can be joyful and illuminating -- but the question of sexual attraction often gets in the way. | Quote: | | | | | According a rather boring report, men are boring. The only interesting proposal I see in here is that we should return to the days where gentlemen retire together to the drawing room for port and cigars, and the ladies discuss tapestry or bath bombs or something.
