I am also looking for some advice and this topic seems like a good place to ask the question. I've been using an app called codecheck. It has most of the products that I search for, but absolutely no history function. Does someone know how to get a history of all of the items that I have scanned? Or, is there a better app for this purpose in Switzerland? To whoever replies, would you mind pinging me personally to make sure that I see the reply?

Arcade fans rejoice, iMAME is here. Will it last? Will it be playable on an iphone screen? Only a few ROMs available at the moment too.

Is there a better app for creating playlists on the iphone than the standard music app? I just accidentally added all songs to a new playlist, useless.
All I want is the simple option to add a currently playing song to a playlist, how can that be so hard?

I only use iTunes as an archive now, spotify is so much faster and, well, has everything! Well worth the small monthly fee.

It is called my144. You use it to call 144 (ambulance) and tell them that you are using my144. They then can enter your mobile number on the my144 website and have the full Swiss grid co-ordinates for your exact location (see the screen shot on the website). Very useful if you do not know exactly where you are or outside the city.
It was developed by three doctors at the CHUV in Lausanne
The website is www.my144.ch
The app is free. | | | | | I installed that ap. and have tested it several times in different locations ( never in an emergency situation thank Gawd ) but it never got closer than 100meters to my actual location.

Uhmmmm, don't know about these services, I don't think they're what I want. For a start, a streaming service is useless for me, I use high quality uncompressed files, I just need to organise them.

I haven't read all the posts - but one my husband and I just download to our Airbooks, iPads and iPhone is 'find my iPhone (or iPad)'. It's free and you can download it on all your devices in case you lose one, or it is stolen. So if you left your iPhone in a taxi you can locate it from your Pad or Book or my husband can use his devices to locate it.

| | | Must have iPhone apps (in CH)
Hi to all reading this.
I have a couple of iPhone apps specific to Switzerland that I find quite useful. They are; - SBB Mobile (free - Train times)
- SwissSnow (free - all swiss resorts with latest updates, webcams and more)
- tpg (free - Geneva public transport application)
- Peak.ar (Augmented Reality app, point it at a peak and it will tell you its name)
Which apps have you found useful in Switzerland?

MeteoNews - Paid I think, but gives the best weather forecast for switzerland that I found, and keeps you updated on weather warnings.

Couple of camera apps I've been playing around with: SloPro, turn your iphone 4 into a slow motion camera, worked much better than I imagined. Free but has a little timestamp and a few other limitations, full version is only 2chf from inside the app (the full version isn't available in store, which is odd). Frameographer, Stop motion and time lapse app, works really well, wish my point and shoot would do time lapse.

Not an iPhone/iPad app per se, but it comes highly recommended by someone who does a lot of video work to communicate with his clients.
So if you need to do pod-casts, record meetings or interview people, you might want to have a look.
It is the first inexpensive microphone that converts analog sound directly in the mic into digital before going to the iPad/iPhone. It also has a USB connection for direct to MAC use.

Cost is $US 200
Since it just launched, it does not seem to be available via any of the CH suppliers listed on Toppreise.
Apple stores etc. carrying it in CH. Link: http://www.apogeedigital.com/product...by-country.php
