I was last with my folks for Christmas and my husband and I was with my dad at the train station as he wanted to show us how to get to the city with the train.

My lovely dad was dressed in very baggy tracksuit pants with matching jacket and had on white running shoes. My husband turned to me and said he looked like a "rapper"

Does anyone have other stories where your wife or husband have said funny comments about your parents?

where to start with my parents (sigh) my mum was given a fur coat and hat (those big furry russian ones?) about 25 yrs ago from my dad...and i think it is the most tasteless ugly un PC thing! but every winter when she goes to UK to visit my brother or unfortunately now, when i am in Switzerland, she wears it! (though to be fair, switzerland, or more specifically in the ski resorts, my mum fits right in!)i am not a PETA fanatic or anything, i am just more embarrassed about how she looks like a raccoon in it!
but she wears it cos she says its from my dad....i've warned her that someday some PETA person will splash paint all over it but alas,till this day, no one has fullfilled this wish
