Does anyone know a good outlet for Crumpler bags, preferably their camera bag range? They have a good online site at www.crumpler.ch, however I need to check things in person, so to speak.

Preferably in Zürich or Basel.

there's a shop on Güterstrasse in Basel that sold a lot of Crumpler products but I can't remember the name, its an Apple center

There's a Crumpler shop in Spitalgasse in the Niederdorf area (Zürich). I don't know if it's still there. There's also a big sports gear store facing the HB's platform 3 which has Crumpler bags.

Crumpler Shop in old town, Jelmoli has some too. Just to endorse that they are very good (though expensive) rugged bags, neoprene and nylon. I have a couple of the shoulder bags, and one of the smaller neoprene cases for my GPS. The keep their colout and the "seatbelt" shoulder straps a bit cumbersome but the dispatch rider third fixing point proves very useful. I got mine on line from some camera shop at a discount. If you go to UK, the discount chain TkMaxx has them very cheap.

The best place to go is the Crumpler Shop in Spitalgasse. Since it's only selling Crumplers, it has a large range on display including all of the camera bags (and I'm very glad I got to try out the different options before buying).

The hiking shops, Eschenmose and Bookbinders each have small selections.

Yep. It's more or less right next door to the Bucherbrocky. You'll be able to pick up some very cheap English reading material as well. When you've done that, go over the road and grab a bite from the Arab, Japanese or Thai takeaway!!

The Apple shop has lots of adverts for Criumpler bags in its window.
