While I was browsing thru various airlines and their offers for flights to RSA, I came across the latest prices by British Airways and e.g.

(between 25Nov and 25 Dec) were quite affordable. It is more less R7800 (CHF1074), which is quite competitive price compare to what other airlines offer being usually close to CHF1500 (over R11000). Is that not in contradiction to recent fuel surcharges and airflights price hikes?

I do not know the answer to your fuelcharges etc question...but have a look also on www.travelstart.co.za for good prices...

Actually it is similar offer as directly purchased from BA site. However I found it easier to make a payment transfer directly in SA from www.travelstart.co.za.
