Can anyone offer any information on buying, using or prefered models of PDA's available here?
Personally I don't use one, but wanting to pass one on as a client gift for Xmas.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I used to be a big fan of anything Palm, but haven't PDA's pretty much been replaced by smart phones these days?
(Disclaimer - my so-called smart phone has Windows inside, so it can't be all that smart.)

PDA's, smart phones, black berry... which ever is functional on the market.
I use a phone to call people, if I want to type long messages, pcs do that.
If I want people to think I have more money than I need, I'd buy an iphone. But the person who wants the PDA actually is trying to be practical and hates the Eee... (but who can you call from an Eee?)

A friend of mine recently recommended taking a look at this site when I was searching for a PDA,
You might want to try it out, it had some useful tips. http://www.expansys.ch/ |

It sure looks that what the OP (and I) really want no longer seems to exist (except, I suppose, on eBay).

I am considering getting one as well. My local store suggested the HTC TyTn II
It seems to have a comprehensive range of features. The GPS appears to be somewhat limited though. Other than that, it has very good reviews from what I have seen.

One site that I like is Tom's Hardware. It is focused on computer hardware, but in the Forum's section there are discussions about PDAs. You might pose your question there if you don't find what you are looking for. http://www.tomsguide.com/us/forum/forum-17.html

I inherited a pre-loved Symbol Motorola MC35 Enterprise Digital Assistant which I think will make a great gift for that special person. This is a convergence product ie not only limited as PDA. http://www.motorola.com/business/v/i...008406b00aRCRD

Edit: A-GPS! and WM6
