Re: Border-crossing experiences [in a car]

Being a model I had to come over the border to do a very important top modelling job. I drove through in my flash VW Golf 1.8 CL with colour coded bumpers and matching sunroof! I was stopped at the border but when I showed the my Canadian passport they waved me straight through. I was expecting to be stopped and searched as usually happens with us models.

I bet they are really impressed by your sardonic wit I really would advise you not to antagonise the hard working people on the border. They have quotas of sample searches to do, and they can make your life very difficult, as you are in their domain. Things you had probably not even thought of including the defects (not just in taste) of your flash car.

I just love to mess with the border monkeys. I drive a pretty flash motor and have long hair so I often get stopped at the borders, especialy at night. The first thing I declare when questioned is that I only speak the queens english... that usualy winds them up as I have been a Swiss Resident for five years now and they demand to know why I cant speak the Swiss language. I then demand them to show me where its written that I have to. They then usualy ask where I work and I tell them I dont because I dont need to. But what made one guy go purple was when I asked him what he was going to do for a job when Switzerland is forced by the EU to stop challenging people on the borders.

PS. I always ensure I have all my documents in order and no contraband whatsoever in my car when I do this!

No I am a designer model and I only model designer things. As a model I earn over 200 000 chf a year which is almost 17 000 chf a month. Which is why I drive a luxurious VW Golf 1.8 CL with colour coded bumpers and matching sunroof. Infact I might even be getting a CD player in my luxury limo soon!

Do you work here ? Or do you actually think people are impressed by what
you do, or how much you earn ?

An interesting side-issue. Has anyone ever crossed the border wearing fancy dress ? How did it go ?

Re: Border-crossing experiences [in a car]

I do not understand why people are so mean as soon as they find out I am a model who has a flash car. Did I mention its a 4 door with optional sports pack?
Also why would you want to know about the size of my man thing. Dont you think thats rather rude. Anyway ill give you a clue, look at my username.
Also im not trying to impress you that I have a good salary. Im just trying to show you that I am the sort of model who might be smuggling my huge salary over the border into my secret Swiss Bank acct (UBS Bellevue)

Not only a model, but a mathematician too.

But a Golf is not much of a status symbol - I drive one...

Let alone a sports pack!

You mean, you were stupid enough to buy a luxury limo that didn't come with a CD player?

Re: Top Models crossing the border

When i bought the car from a luxury dealership they said the VW didnt take well to a CD player as when you go over bumps the tracks skip. Thats why they recommended I use an 8 track as my cool sound system!

I think all Golf have colour-coded bumpers. My bumbers have bumps too.

But, hey, I gotta CD player in mine - and not just a CD player, but a 6 CD magazine. Cool, heh? It's just a question of buying 6 CDs now...
