Re: Three songs that get you going………

Several occasions made me a frequent visitor to facilities where it's handy to know how to open a door with the elbow. Not the bathroom.. Mainly due to the risky lifestyle of family members and their passion for extremsport. Radio song, but the lyrics are to the point.

(oh, ok. no need to post) Kittster already posted the Fray song.

epic fails
Cat Power - The greatest

The late 80's/early 90's: in the car with my parents. Endless discussions... Cassette player. Childhood.
Dissolving the cord seat upholstry with my hands - devaluating the resale value of a BMW significantly and giving a sh** about it.
Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

and falling in love
Anna Ternheim - What have I done

Re: Song of the day

Have you heard the great news? Pulp have reformed (well since a few months now):

Naturally Pulp are mostly known for one song. But as Jarvis rightly put it at Reading when he introduced the song: "If Pulp are only ever remembered for this song...I don’t care...It’s a good song...You know... Black Lace are only remembered for Agadoo...So it could be a lot worse”

Here are two less well known songs from Pulp that are IMO quite good (and are trademark Pulp: light disco music with dark lyrics)

Pulp - Death comes to town

Pulp - Seconds

Re: Song of the day

I just got this sweet remix. I know the tune from about 6 remixes that float around, the club ones are funky enough or chic, but this one is doing it for me.

Roger Waters and The Foo Fighters play a great version of Pink Floyd's 'In The Flesh'.
