Re: Song of the day

Bit of a golden oldie, one of my favourite tunes - don't judge them on "Sing It Back" alone...

Moloko - Fun For Me

From an album with one of my favourite names, "Do You Like My Tight Sweater?"

Man Parrish - Hip Hop Be Bop

That, is, excellent.

And, dammit, my Song Of The Day is not only not on Youtube, it's also not up on the artists website

(for anyone who is curious, it would have been Gemma Hayes - I Wanna Stay)

That is an awesome song. And yeah, psych up music definitely.

I used to listen to this as a "warm up" to a big night out on the beer

Listened to a bit of The Cooper Temple Clause (song was called Been Training Dogs) on my way in. Shame they've split up now but they're freaking awesome!

Woot, I managed it!!

Seems like you have good taste in music matey!! TCTC are hardly the most heard of band and were criminally underrated I think. A true band's band with one of the most loyal, passionate fanbases I've ever seen.

Dunno why but it reminded me of this, another excellent track to get you on one after a crap day yesterday...

Re: Song of the day

Had to look that up - according to wikipedia, the drummer and lead guitar used to be in Symposium but not the rest.

Have to confess I'm the other way round, have listened to no Symposium despite knowing of them, but have always liked HIFH since I saw them at Leeds fest in 2002. Odd.

I have their first album in a box somewhere, I may even dig it out and lend it to you!! Definitely worth a listen.

Farewell To Twilight used to be awesome in a local indie club back home!!
