Re: Song of the day

This came to mind as a song I haven't heard in a while

Dave & Ansil Collins - Double Barrel

The route was a strange one: from Metallica, via this thread
http://www.englishforum.ch/concerts/...ng-zurich.html (The big four) to Big Six, Judge Dread - Reggae. It's quite logical really

Re: Song of the day

I seem to be becoming a bit obsessed with Florence & The Machine - Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up). I can't stop listening to it... it's just not like anything else i've heard.

Re: Song of the day

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Enjoy the Blue Moon which only occurs every 19 years during the New Year!

Europeans will also see a partial eclipse

Re: Song of the day

My song of the day is by one of the best songwriter/acoustic guitar players of all time IMO. He created two of the greatest albums ever; "Five Leaves Left" and "Pink Moon" in the late sixties/early seventies. Like many of the best musicians nearly all of his success has come after death sadly.

There are no videos of him playing (you can find out why on wiki) but you can still listen, so turn it up and enjoy

Re: Song of the day

Is this song familiar to Europeans? I understand that in the early 70's, this was a hit all over Europe---even the U.K.---but it never got airplay in the United States. (Maybe Canada---I don't know.) Until this YouTube clip appeared a few years ago, I and many of my fellow countrymen were unaware that this song even existed:

Prisencolinensinainciusol by Adriano Celentano
