They won't let us watch your video here Deep Purple, but I'm guessing you were watching BBC2 last night and saw the lovely Stacia doing her thing. Since my one attempt at playing an instrument was bass, and I was about as successful at it as Sid, I loved last night's program about "the other".

Here's an oldie that brought back memories for me, and also reminds me of this place...the lion's den.

Re: Song of the day

I know there are several versions out there of this song,
Johnny Clegg has a nice one too, but this one is my favorite!!

It is really frustrating when You Tubes etc. are blocked in certain countries. I get the same problem with ones posted from Switzerland from time to time.

Two videos showing that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

if I remember well, it is from a commie show, it was called "4 z tanku (a pes)", or something like that, I may have it wrong. It's in Polish, Jacek would tell ya, or Jaro...

Ah... shame. I suppose I could still listen to it with the sound turned off, though?

Re: Song of the day

I went to the Stag and Dagger event in East London. We didn't work out logistics too well and spent a little too much time traipsing. I did enjoy this band though:

Later on a huge crowd turned up to see Django Django:
