In the Uk city-centre supermarkets have been identified as a good place to meet the opposite sex. I can't see that working here: engaging Sabine in rivetting and witty conversation while she fights with her fellow customer in the crowded aisle of Migros HB for the last yoghurt on special offer...
You could say something pleasant to them on neutral ground. The worst that can happen is that she think you are a nutter and tells all her mates. However I would stop short of proposing immediately on the basis of a few short conversations though - even if you did talk "every day"...
