another piece of impeccably balanced journalism from the Mail .... anyone that cares to read Lord Browne's statement refuting the charges - http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/leg...cle2500130.ece

If he did do all that "spurned" lover David Chevalier claims, hang him out to dry, but don't you believe that a bit of impartiality should be taken into account before we go into a frenzy of gay bashing xenophobia ?

Of course, the Daily Mail loves gays anyway don't they? But surely why they made such a fuss is clear when they say "Lord Browne, a close friend of Tony Blair" say's it all really

Why should we be? Why should we care? Unless we are BP share holders.

The Daily Mail do make the wildest, most extreme SVP politicians look like muesli eating liberals. Rotten paper, the only one that supported Hitler in the UK, never forget that.

Re: BP Chief under Fire

This seems a bit more balanced. Then again, the IHT isn't likely to include the tabloid details.

and even if we were, it seems he did a very good job over the years. And don't forget he was due to retire in 3 months anyway

Since he has jumped ship early he has lost out in retirement bonuses & share deals worth millions. The Daily Mail are also talking to the Attorney General to try to get him prosecuted for perjury.
