Rugby season is almost over (2 games left) and Skyrim is about to arrive at my door.......i am not leaving my house for a while methinks.
Also in other news, i got an email last night from Ubisoft about ACIII.
They released a very short trailer of Conor (the new main character) chasing down some dude through a snowy forest (Canton Schwitz??? lol) and then firing an arrow through his calf......ouch .
This is a teaser for the gameplay trailer they are planning to put up as soon as they get 1,776,000 likes/email address's/tweets etc....
Almost half way there.......pretty good going considering it went live about 12 hours ago. http://assassinscreed.ubi.com/ac3/en...ite/index.aspx
cheers

That did not take too long........1,776,000 reached!!!
So Ubisoft put up the 'gameplay' trailer for ACIII
Talk about a massive anti-climax
In total about 3 seconds of actual 'gameplay'.
One very cool thing though, when Conor was busting through a building.........nice quick escape routes. Other than that.....just a waste of interweb space imo.
Looks like i will have to wait for E3 for a proper 'gameplay' video
cheers

I would play them all! Assassin's creed is a great series. The 1st game focuses on the assassin Altair, the 2nd, Brotherhood, and Revelations focus on the assassin Ezio. I would recommend getting the 1st just to finish the story; the gameplay becomes very repetitive at the end. But the 3 games with Ezio were fantastic, definitely enjoyable to finish completely.
All 4 of them follow a story in present day, so I think you should play them in order (AC1, AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations).

I have to say, I found ACI quite tiresome by the end, but I wanted to finish it for the storyline. About halfway through Revelations, but haven't touched the PS3 in weeks; by the time everyone has gone to bed so I am free to play, I'm too bloody tired myself.

Never finished 1, it got too dull. I missed a couple of plot points, but eventually figured it out. Starting at AC2, the gameplay has a huge improvement.

My main problem with ACI was the fact that there are no trophies, so looking for flags does become pointless.
On play.com there are several bundles available. Best offer is EURO 16.49 for I & II.
It is worth starting at the begining to get the most out of the entire story and also its great to feel the evolution between each game.
As soon as ACI gets you down just move onto ACII and the epicness shall begin.
cheers

These days my gaming is limited to a few late night drunken matches of FIFA 12. I gave away a good third of my games a few weeks ago, too, all the ones I knew I'd never play again. Hopefully I'll find my enthusiasm again soon.

I then tried to proceed with Deus Ex, but got stuck on the 1st mini-boss; it's tough to kill someone when I'm trying to complete the game in non-lethal mode .
So back to Skyrim, hoping they will eventually fix Solitude so I can become the saviour of Skyrim, or whaever it's called.

Not sure if I want to start playing again, been applying myself to slightly more productive uses, so I tell myself. I'm also refusing to watch long US tv series anymore, so no mad men, broadwalk empire, even though I'm repeatedly informed I must watch them. I caved when I got the flu a couple weeks back and ended up watching the entirety of breaking bad so far, luckily they tell me it finishes next season.
