btw. I'm looking forward to Assassin's Creed Revelations.

AC1 gameplay was pants, but AC2 and ACB has been great.

I actually did an Assassin's Creed tour of Italy in July, to Florence, Roma and Monteriggioni. Must write it up some time.

IMO the campaign was the best part of GOW. I found the MP maps just too small. Seemed to me like COD maps. YUK!!
I may rent the new one just for the campaign but defo won't be buying it.

I fancy getting Dead Island. I've heard some good things about it. That is when I get back on the old Xbox. My one still hasn't arrived from Switzerland yet

Agree completely on the Campaign.
But at the same time, I have also heard good things about the Horde mode in GoW MP and the new Beast Mode which lets you play as Locust to defeat humans, which could be cool. Saw some UTube videos which looked fun.

Dead Island seems fun too. I saw the demo playthrough and some vidoes which looks great. I am not so sure I will buy it though.

I agree with you, altought i did enjoy a lot the ac1, even if it was to repetitive i alwas try to make my own fun and complete the task with my own added difculty (not hiting the ground for example) .. but ac2 and acb where completly awesome .. i only had the oportunity to visit venice. .. and i was always thinking about the game.. and how is really accurate with the map and the places .. and i wanted to jump on rooftops

when i used to play GoW2 i also liked more the campaign at the begining but then i went crazy with the horde .. that thing is addictiv ... is more if you have a friend and you plar regularly .. and for the new GoW i heard great stuff about the horde 2.0 and all the things you can do ... cant wait to get a job buy a 360 and then play

or go back home and play there .. whatever comes first

Even though playability in AC1 was the worst of the three so far, the story arc that continues across the trilogy is brilliant.

Anyone else getting Battlefront 3 or the new Batman Arkham City?

Had a quick go on Forza4 yesterday. Still fun but not noticing much different in the way of graphics although as I said, it was a quick go. Driving on the Top Gear track was cool though.

So, I downloaded and played the "RAAM's Shadow" DLC for GoW3 yesterday.
Its quite cool, nice backstory, and some nice scenarios.

...and awesome mauling around as General RAAM. Plus, orbital control of the Hammer of Dawn...EPIC WIN !!!
