| | | The X-Box 360 thread
As there has been a dedicated PS3 thread for sometime now, I thought it would be good for the X-Box'ers to have a discussion thread.
I'm currently playing the newe Battlefield: Bad company 2 demo which isn't too bad once I got used to the controls again after playing COD: MW2 for the last few weeks.
Flying the chopper is a biatch as the controls are slightly different to BC1.
My other games that I regularly play are:
Star Wars Battlefront 2
COD: MW2
Other games I have but not played for a while: FightNight 4, GTA4, COD: WAW, HALO:ODST, HALO 3.
Looking to get rid of: Spider-Man 3, Battlestations Pacific, Civilization Revolution, Spiderman:Web of Shadows
What are you playing?
My gamertag is Jev Dedalus

Do any of you know if games bought overseas (US) will work on an XBox bought here? I assume they do, but before I start buying much cheaper games on my trips to the States I though I'd ask.
I'm a huge COD fan. Have always played it on the PC though. I bought my first XBox a few months ago.
How'd you get a hold of the COD Bad company 2 demo by the way?

No, I'm afraid US games won't work here. You have to buy them in Europe. If you order them from amazon.co.uk though you'll get a reduced price because of the tax...

For the most part, titles will only work in their region. Ie, US games (marked NTSC) will only work with a US Console. PAL games with a PAL console, etc.
There are a few exceptions though. I find Play Asia is usually fairly good when it comes to the compatibility guide.

I play mainly sports games. At the moment I have been playing:
FIFA 10
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010
NHL 10
Tiger Woods 10
Madden 10
I have earlier versions of Pro Evo 2009 and 2008
Madde 08 and 09
Virtua Tennis 3 that I'd be happy to get rid of for cheap/next to nothing.

I'm not a big fan of the PS3 anyway. Bad experiences
I actually have an Asian Xbox, so it's a pain in the arse to get games, but I find myself buying less crap games than I did before, and just pre-ordering the games I want. Then I tend to forget about them, and get pleasantly surprised a few months later when they arrive in the post box.

Plus, the Xbox controllers are far superior to that of Playstation's, in my humble opinion.

And I'm currently selling my Wii, so with the extra space under the TV I am probably taking the plunge for a 360 in the coming weeks. I'll still use the PS3 as my primary platform, but I'll use the 360 for exclusives and waaay superior cross-platform cases (like Bayonetta).
Are all RROD and E74 errors covered by the extended 3-year warranty in Europe now?
