| my landlady just sent me a signed letter to inform that she will increase the renting price due to the increase in the hypothec interest rate from 3% to 3.25%.
in 2004, upon our request, she reduced of 75 Fr/month, but now she wants 95.5 Fr/month, so 20/month more.
i do not understand how she calculated that and whether she can ask more than it is written in the contract.
any help? | |

When calculating rent to lower it or up it, there is so much more in equation and to consider than just the plain sum,i.e. we paid 1'500 and it was reduced to 1425.- and why should we have to pay 1520.50.- now...............
Both links in german explain a little more about that, I've c&p'ed them and will translate them later this week when I have a tad more time.
