I have tried to read all the posts so if I double up on my questioning I do apologize.

My husband and I are moving to Switzerland in October. My husband will be working in Fribourg however I have read that if you can live in a low tax canton. So therefore, we are looking for a single house, 3 beds + garden for dogs plus good communiting options to Fribourg.

Taking this into consideration and that you are taxed on where you live - what areas can you recommend that I concentrate on that have low tax bracket.

Hello again Kerri. Canton Fribourg is probably your best bet, as it has lower cantonal tax. If you look on some of the property sites, you will see that monthly rental is going to be anywhere between 2,500-4,000 chf per month, for what you are looking for above.
