Hello,
We are moving out soon and our landlord has asked us to get a top to bottom cleaner, from a professional company, who will clean, re-paint and do any touch-ups needed.
I need some help and advice please, on what steps should be taken.

• We have been in the apartment for only one year, (it was converted from a photo studio to a apartment so we were the first people to really live in it). Is it really necessary to have it totally painted?
• There are damp stains on the wall, which obviously isn't our fault, should we take this up with the land lord? (it has caused me grief, attracting the type of creature as the silver fish, and just ...unpleasantness)
• The kitchen work top is quite bad (I.e. It was grubby when we moved in and, I haven't been able to clean it properly. It also stainswhen you just spill a bit of tea on it!) I'm worried that they will try to charge us for it, is there any srgument that can support me on this?
• Does anyone have recommendations of a good honest cleaner company that can do this and provide a '''certificate'' that the landlord wants?

When I moved out of my last appartment I asked the landlord to recommend one. That way you can be certain the recommended cleaner will past the test
In fact, in my case, the landlord himself offered to do it for CHF 500.-. This was for a 2 1/2 room flat after living there for seven years. I accepted and had absolutely no hassle

Wow you have a nice landlord, yes Ill ask him. our apprtment is 3 room, but one being a converted cellar 70sqm and a very high ceiling! So I hope it will not be over 1000sfr.

But we have only been there a year! So I hope all the horror stories I've heard wont be true for us
