We are thinking of to buying a farmhouse in AG which needs renovation. Before we spend any money on architects, etc. we want to get a full structural survey done to make sure it is not going to fall off the hill side, etc. We have asked UBS (who will provide our mortgage) for some names of local surveyors but they keep giving us the names of people who value property instead of proper structural surveyors who are willing to stand by their reports and who are insured. Does anyone have any names of companies who can provide this service?
