Hello,

I am moving soon from Geneva to Gland and wondered if anyone could recommend me a reliable and cost-effective moving company who could transport my stuff up there? I don't drive and I would rather pay for a company than take further advantage of my long-suffering friends who have access to cars.

Literally, I don't have very much ( keep your eyes peeled on the advert section, furniture sale imminent ) but a few bags of books and a snake cage, plus a TV and the usual trappings.

While I'm at it, any good cleaning ladies?

I brought over my scaley friend from England, he's a Corn Snake called Eric. Have you ever tried to smuggle a live animal through Geneva customs?

No, neither have I. But I had him imported properly and went to collect him from the Vet office behind the airport. Carried him home in a box on the bus with a big sticker saying "LIVE SNAKE" - needles to say, no-one sat next to me...
