Does anyone have a few links to Estate Agents in Valais? If there are any that specialise in the more prestigious end of the market, especially with land I'd be very grateful. Thanks

Gettisa in Martigny are very good. The contact name we have there is Sara de Bons, she's very nice.

I can recommend Paul from http://www.alpineswitzerland.com

He knows the real estate market in Valais extremely well and is an expert in property sales to residents and non-residents. He deals with all property types but specialises in the luxury end of the market including land for redevelopment.

Give him a call and he will be able to point you in the direction of some great properties and also give you some good advice on how to handle the red-tape.

We are looking at anywhere in the French speaking part of Valais which I believe means up to Sierre? Although not in the really windy area as the A9 turns through 90 degrees.

There are quite a few large properties available but they are all Chalais.
