Glue and Garage

Hello,

I'm soon to move apartments and need to sort a couple of things out with the apartment I'm leaving:
  • Does anyone know what sort of glue is used to bind metal with galvanised rubber. A support on the oven door has come off and it looks like this is how it is put together, being a handy sort of chap I'd like to repair it myself.
  • I've lost the remote garage door control, is it possible just to buy a new one and set it to whatever frequency?? the unit that controls the door uses.
Would be most appreciative if anyone knows the answers to these questions

Cheers
Stephen

You can usually lift off the battery cover and see a row of switches which are set in a particular pattern to set the frequency.

You need one of existing controls and the new one. Set the switches in the new one to the same pattern as in the old one.
