Question about Rent Cost

Hi Everyone,

I tried searching for this, but didn't see any similar posts. I've been looking on the rent website for Zurich (homegate, etc) and I've noticed that for some listings it shows this:

Rent / month: CHF 1,965.--
Net rent: CHF 1,800.--
Add'l expenses: CHF 165.--

What exactly are the additional expenses? Is this some sort of utility cost (gas, electric) or is it like the council tax in the UK? Just wondering if anyone had any idea.

Heat, water, maintenance, gardening, etc.

Utilities are NOT included in this!

That's what I figured. But I was hoping it was utils. haha
