Dodgy letting agents to avoid

a&s immobilientreuhand gmbh
Wächlenstrasse 1
8832 Wollerau

DO NOT EVER USE THIS LETTING AGENT AND IF YOIU HAVE NO CHOICE ENSURE THAT THE PROPERTY IS CHECKED BY A SPECIALIST CHECKING EVERY DETAIL THAT MAY AFFECT YOUR DEPOSIT - BEEN WAITING FOR 6 MONTHS FOR MY DEPOSIT OF CHF 12k. THEY NEVER GET BACK TO YOU OR DEAL WITH ANY ISSUES - BAD ENOUGH LIVING IN PFAFFIKON IN THE FIRST PLACE AND GETTING HIT BY HAILSTONES THE SIZE OF GOLF BALLS AND THEN YOUR LANDLOR NOT BOTHERING TO REPAIR THE APARTMENT YOU RENT FOR 4K A MONTH AND THEN KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY A STORM THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE COVERED BY INSURANCE.

SWISS QUALITY OF SERVICE WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE - I COULD LIST ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS LIKE PAYING 25CHF FOR A COFFEE IN STARBUCKS BUT I DONT HAVE TIME AND NEVER BOTHER TO POST MESSAGES VENTED ANGER BUT THIS TIME I JUST LOST IT.

MILLETS, YOU KNOW IT MAKES TENTS

May I introduce you to the caps lock key?
It looks like this:

If you press it once, your keyboard stops malfunctioning.
You're welcome.

Re: Dodgy letting agents to avoid

I'm very sorry to hear what happened. It sounds ridiculous as I cant imagine it is legal for any landlord/letter to charge you for something that happened to their property that is out of your control. Unless it is in your contract that you have to buy property insurance (highly unusual) It doesnt matter ifr your rent is 4k or 400 chf.

I'm pretty sure this thread will get locked and or the op edited because the EF doesnt let you name and shame (unfortunately)

can't name and shame. But you can name talk about how wonderful a business is. I just love Novartis. My job is always secure and I never have to worry about mass lay offs.

Re: Dodgy letting agents to avoid

You do know that the agency can legally hold on to your deposit for 1 year untill all the claims & bills have been sorted so so far they have actually done nothing wrong.

This is legal; they have up to one year. (Reminds me, I must write to my old landlord - it's been 10 months - and just 'check if he has our bank details'.)

Well, I can't disagree with you there.

Or there.

What was the damage exactly? If it's just cosmetic damage to the outside of the house I don't know that you can force the landlord to repair it. If your windows were smashed, making the place unlivable-innable, that's a different story.

Also, has the landlord informed you that he's keeping all/part of your deposit to pay for damages? or are you just assuming that because he hasn't refunded it yet? As posted above, he's got 12 months to do so.

I'd say paying for coffee in Starbucks, full stop. But maybe that's just me.

It what? This is so baffling it's nearly poetic.

Some sort of play on words... (possibly from an advert for Millets, I'm assuming it's an adventure camping retailer)

You know it makes tents as in you know it makes sense, but maybe he wants to say he is now living / wants to live in a tent

On a side note I think that Estate Agents / Verwaltungen or whatever you wanna call them, holding on to your deposit for up to a year is a flipping joke! I had mine returned in under 3 weeks! And since we're naming andd shaming they're called Regimo Zug, never had a problem! So DO use them!
