I was just reading this tread with interest as I was suprised with the cost of replacing a key that some of you mentioned. I just found out this website (it is in French). http://www.clenet.ch/ and they do copies of all kind of KAbA keys (for around 50CHF for a Kaba star). I was wondering if anyone ever heard of them and if you would think they would notify your landlord that you actually used their services to make a copy of a key.

Hello,
I lost the keys (I have 3 identical keys I lost one of them) for my flat . Do you know how much roughly the agency will charge me for this?
The key model is KESO 1000((lots of circular dents instead of teeth).This key is used to open the main building door and my flat main door.
Is it required to change the lock for all the flats in this block...

They seem to copy those highly secure keys. I have sent them an email with the KEy IDs will see if they can make a copy.

Hi,

We recently lost one of the KABA Star keys to the apartment we are renting. I was out and lost my purse, with the key in it (I later recovered my purse at the Lausanne Lost property office, minus cash and apartment key).

We have contacted the landlord but are still waiting to hear back.

Does anyone know whether for it to be covered under insurance, I will need some kind of police report to prove my purse was stolen? I have not registered the theft.
