We live in Zurich and were thinking of renting a chalet for next ski season. We have 3 kids and would like nice (equivalent to 4 star accomodations). Would also like a nice town to be there. Can you please suggest some resorts for within 2 hours of Zurich. Also, what's the general range in price for this ? Can we do this for 10-15,000 ? A realtor in Klosters told us it was 25-35 K. Seems a big high to me, but is it ?

I think you need to look for an apartment rather than a chalet. Houses in Zurich are expensive too.

I`m thinking 2000 per month is probably cheap for a "4 star" apartment in a popular resort area such as Klosters/Davos for 5 people. You would most likely have to rent it for the year to get such a price. Don`t expect to ski in/out for that end of the market.
Perhaps searching somewhere like Oberiberg might result in better prices. The season passes would be cheaper and it`s closer to Zurich.
But anyway you can check homegate.ch to see rental prices in most areas.
