Dear All,
Me and my family (wife and 6 years old - December son) need to move to this nice country from GB on end of March this year. Job place will be at Zürich Altstetten. After looking around and choosing location for living we stopped on Baden area (Baden it self and surrounding villages). Basically it is easy commute to working destination, but also leaves opportunity travel to Basel so my wife will have more choices in her job search in future. Also we prefer living in relatively quiet and rural regions.
But before renting any apartments we would like to ask You about good primary schools in that region and than narrow down the search for rent.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any primary schools league/performance tables in Switzerland similar ones on BBC, Guardian, TimesOnline for UK. So could I ask You to advice us on good public primary schools from your or your friends experience in Baden area: Baden, Neuenhof, Ennetbaden, Obersiggenthal, Rieden, Wettingen etc.
I’ve seen topics at this forum where people complain about bad integration classes/programs, relatively “useless” teachers, bulling in schools, so ideally we would like to find a school without (or almost without) these attributes and than try to rent an apartment around. It also worth to mention that German language skills for all of us are just below 0.
Many thanks for your help and suggestions in advance.
