I have a business trip to Lausanne with my family for two months (July-August this year). I'll be very grateful for advice how to find a small apartment under 4'000 CHF per month. Any corporate apartments complexes or agencies specializing in short lets? Thank you!

- Check out the lausanne tourisme website
- check out the housing sites like homegate, immostreet, home, anibis, comparis, etc.
- get in touch with a relocation company to do it for you (these companies are pretty expensive)

What do you mean by help?
I'd definitely prefer to try a company or agency as long as they are able to provide a 1,5-2 bedroom apartment under 4,000 CHF.
I find it very troublesome to deal with private owners, unless there is no choice.

there are a lot of relocation companies around Lausanne and they might help you out, but their prices can be pretty high (CHF 4'000 - CHF 5'000).

As you are not used to the housing process, it might be difficult to find something by yourself.

We need an apartment for a couple + 2 (or 3) for July 1 - August 30 (flexible). It may be small and modest but well located, if possible close to the beaches (Ouchy?, Lutry?).
We also thought about a Vevey-Monreux area, but I understood that it might be more expensive and difficult to find than Lausanne.

when I was helping a friend look for somewhere to 'hang out' for a month or two. In the end, my friend decided not to come to Lausanne, so I can't tell you if Ok Logement are any good or not, but it's worth looking at their website to give you a price guide.

Yes you have this kind of companies where everything is taken care of. Cleaning once a week, changing sheets, etc. but this is pricy.

There is OK logement and Nogan.ch which are Specialists in furnished short term accommodation. But a 3-4 bedrooms furnished place might cost chf 4000 and more.

It may sound cray but I still cannot find a flat in Lausanne or vicinity for July-August. I contacted GlobePlan and they told me to wait by May when they have availabilities for July-August. After I waited they told me that they deal only with rentals from 3 months and more (although I gave them my dates in the beginning). Nogan also don't deal with rentals shorter that 3 months. OKLogements have nothing for a family of 5. Your help will be highly appreciated!

In St-Sulpice, the Restaurant Le Debarcadere rents fully furnished apartments.
Check it out on google.

Also in St-Sulpice, the now closed Restaurant L'Abordage rents 2 small furnished apartments. But these may be too small. Check it out on google.

Both places are great location, by the lake, lots of beaches close by.

You do not want private owners but with agencies it is always impersonal and you pay more : until 150 % of a month of rent (according to duration)!
I suggest you to search " furnished apartment Lausanne " on Google or in french "appartement meublé Lausanne"
The problem is that you want a short period, in summer and for a "big" family!
Good luck, otherwise there is a camping in Vidy near Ouchy.

How about a short-term rental on THIS side of the lake? Very much less expensive and you would only have to travel each day by either the 07.00 boat or the 08.20 boat for a half hour before arriving in Lausanne Ouchy. Return would be on the 17.15 or the 19.00 - thousands do it every day.
